In this state, cells begin to sub-divide, and throughout the embryonic and fetal stages of development, we live in a peaceful, watery world: the womb. We are composed of 90 percent water at birth, and throughout our lives, the human body relies on water as its life force. It hydrates us and keeps us alive. People often try to use food to fill voids from a lack of primary nourishment on an emotional level. Living foods or raw foods have not been cooked, processed, exposed to pesticides or herbicides, microwaved, irradiated, or genetically engineered. The understanding that the food we eat is an energetic whole greater than the sum of its parts reflects a quantum mechanical view of nutrition.

I had moved west to become an actor, and though I'd had modest success, none of it connected me to anything meaningful.
